Indeed, according to the English channel ITV<\/i>, the FIA might decide to reinstate the 107% rule which, between 1996 and 2003, aimed to eliminate very slow cars from the grid.<\/p>\n
The principle is very simple: any time less than 107% of the pole-man’s time is not taken into account. This would help prevent the disaster that some drivers on the grid fear with fast cars and, behind them, the Lotus, Virgin, and HRT, which are far from the mark.<\/p>\n
