Sebastian Vettel set the fastest time with Red Bull by leading free practice 2 at the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona. The McLarens of Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button set the tone during the day’s first session, but the Red Bulls showed good signs of efficiency. This was expected on the Circuit de Catalunya. The soft tires came into play towards the end of the second 90-minute session.<\/p>\n

Vettel was the only driver to dip below the 1.20 mark, making him two-tenths of a second faster than his teammate Mark Webber. The Australian topped the timesheet for most of the session after setting the fastest time early on.<\/p>\n
