Bernie Ecclestone was assaulted Wednesday evening in central London and he suffers from a head injury.<\/p>\n
The 80-year-old man and his girlfriend Fabiani Fiosi were attacked by four men outside the offices of his company, Formula One Holdings.<\/p>\n
Ecclestone was kicked and punched before his attackers escaped with approximately 235,000 euros worth of jewelry.<\/p>\n
A police report says he was taken to a hospital in west London for treatment before being discharged from that hospital.<\/p>\n
