The safety rail then passed through the cockpit at the accelerator pedal level, all the way to the trunk.<\/p>\n<p>This reconstruction explains the severity of the injuries sustained by Kubica, from the leg to the hand, the most affected limb, which today calls into question the Polish driver&#8217;s career in Formula 1.<\/p>\n<p>Robert Kubica is still in intensive care at the hospital today. He will undergo another operation tomorrow to address the fractures in his leg.<\/p>\n<p>Lotus Renault GP, his team in F1, is currently looking for a replacement.
