He has only just finalized his contract in the last few days. He might participate in races as his role as official reserve driver allows and will also take part in a number of testing sessions.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab I spoke with the team for a good while about a role with them and I am delighted to be able to confirm that I will drive for Team Lotus in 2011, \u00bb said Chandhok. \u00ab For more details, I will be in the car for testing after spending time within this team. I need to realize beforehand how everyone at Lotus is on a war footing for a return to the forefront in F1. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab These are very exciting times for the team, and it is a true honor to be able to play a role in the future of this team. I want to thank Tony, Din, Nasa, Riad, and Mike for having faith in me and giving me a chance to help the team grow.
