Starting 6th after his last launched lap in qualifying was cancelled, Max Verstappen still managed to win against his opponents after taking control of the race mid-course. The now triple world champion thus crosses the 50 career victories mark<\/b><\/a>, respectively 1 and 2 lengths ahead of Alain Prost and Sebastian Vettel, all this at just 25 years old. He still had to fight at the end of the race against a superb Lewis Hamilton. On a good day, the Brit would have needed a few more laps to be able to challenge his Dutch counterpart for the win. Second at the finish, the Mercedes driver was however disqualified just like the poleman Charles Leclerc, after the post-race investigation under Parc Ferm\u00e9 which stipulated a plank that was too thin under the car, most likely due to the use of the kerbs and a setting too close to the ground.<\/p>\n
