\u00ab It was a good day for us. We ran well all day without problems and were able to complete our tire evaluation program and accumulate running with both compounds. The track this morning was as dirty as we expected and it improved throughout the day, but with the rain forecast, I think it will be harder for everyone for the rest of the weekend. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Heikki Kovalainen \u2013 19th & 17th<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00ab Overall, I am quite satisfied but it has been a rather strange day. During the first stints this morning, it seemed like one of the toughest Fridays I’ve had this year in terms of balance and overall performance of the car, but as we kept driving, we made good progress with the brakes and settings and I think we got pretty much to where we wanted to be by the end of the second session. \u00bb<\/p>\n

A very useful day for the team and good preparation for the upcoming weekend. Both drivers completed their respective programs, and we ran all day without encountering a single mechanical issue on either of the two cars.<\/p>\n

This morning, we worked on the development tires then on the soft and super soft tires this afternoon, and we are satisfied with how all the compounds are performing.<\/p>\n

We have definitely made progress on the settings, especially on Heikki’s car, so it turns out to be a good day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
