With his 3rd victory in the last 4 races, Sebastian Vettel remains the unshakeable leader of the F1 Barometer. Jenson Button, despite a slightly less prominent European Grand Prix, still stays ahead of Mark Webber, who finished in 3rd position in the last race, losing the benefit of his second place in Turkey.<\/p>\n
A little further down, Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton move up thanks to a podium finish for the former and a solid 4th place for the latter: both drivers remain scoreless in Canada, which heavily penalizes them.<\/p>\n
Kamui Kobayashi, having a very discreet race, drops down in the hierarchy. The Japanese driver is ahead of Rubens Barrichello, who made the biggest climb in our rankings, the Brazilian showing great consistency over the past few races, just like Sebastian Buemi.<\/p>\n
Behind, Heidfeld in 10th, Michael Schumacher loses two places in the standings due to his accident which forced him to change his wing and run at the back of the pack. While Petrov falls out of the top half of the table, Adrian Sutil makes a comeback thanks to his two good results on urban tracks.<\/p>\n
On the manufacturers’ side, the main highlight is the resurgence of Ferrari, which achieves its best overall result in Europe since the start of the season. Lotus Grand Prix, on the other hand, continues to lose places in the rankings and might look towards Great Britain with some apprehension.<\/p>\n
