For a few months, numerous rumors have been circulating about the second seat at Scuderia, and several drivers have been mentioned as potentially taking the Brazilian’s place starting next season. Mark Webber and Jenson Button have been considered potential candidates.<\/p>\n

Luca di Montezemolo was keen to put an end to these rumors and insisted that there was no doubt about Felipe Massa being alongside Fernando Alonso next season. \u00ab Massa and Alonso can always bring something more, \u00bb emphasized the president of Ferrari to Sky Italia.<\/p>\n

\u00ab When I was a young sports director in the sixties, people would have said that the car and the driver accounted for 50-50. Today the single-seater accounts for more, but it’s in those remaining 30% that the driver can make the difference, \u00bb explains Montezemolo.<\/p>\n

According to Montezemolo, the problem of the Scuderia, which secured its first victory of the season last weekend, does not come from the drivers, and there is therefore no reason to change.<\/p>\n
