In 1954, Fangio won the German Grand Prix against Gonzalez after a 3-hour and 45-minute race on the legendary N\u00fcrburgring track, over 22 kilometers long.<\/p>\n
Coming to the N\u00fcrburgring for the German Grand Prix is always special for me. There are so many memories on this incredible track, particularly for Mercedes-Benz with great drivers from the past who have had a lot of success at the N\u00fcrburgring, says Nico Rosberg.<\/p>\n
This year I will have the opportunity to drive the car that Juan-Manuel Fangio drove in 1954, and it will be really special. But obviously, I am eagerly waiting for the Grand Prix itself.<\/p>\n
The best result for Rosberg at the N\u00fcrburgring remains his fourth place achieved in 2009 with a Williams. After the progress glimpsed at Silverstone, doing as well this year would be a very good result for the Mercedes GP driver.<\/p>\n
