It&#8217;s a shame there isn&#8217;t a second zone on the back straight, after turn 15. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>The detection should therefore take place between turns 1 and 2, at the foot of the Eau Rouge climb, and let&#8217;s remember that to activate this aerodynamic appendage intended to aid overtaking, the chasing driver must be within one second of the driver ahead.<\/p>\n<p>Since the beginning of the season, the FIA usually offers only one DRS zone, but in Canada and on the urban circuit of Valencia, a double DRS zone\u2014with a single detection point\u2014was decided to increase overtaking opportunities.
