I think the best thing is to finish the race in a good position.<\/p>\n

What is your assessment of the first part of the season?<\/b><\/p>\n
It was not good enough because I had a lot of trouble adjusting to the power steering which was not working well at all, so it bothered me a lot.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, I couldn’t use the new direction here because it doesn’t work, so I had to go back to the old one and thus performance has dropped again.<\/p>\n
We have many things to improve in all areas, such as aerodynamics. Next year we’ll have the KERS, which will be a step in the right direction. After that, there are plenty of other things to improve.<\/p>\n
The biggest part of your career is behind you. What will you do after F1?<\/b><\/p>\n
I have plenty of things to do between the wine and the hotel. I have many interests elsewhere, so we’ll see.<\/p>\n
MotoGP riders have expressed concerns about traveling to Japan. F1 will also be going to Japan in October, are you also worried?<\/b><\/p>\n
We’re going to Suzuka, they’re going much closer to the area where there were nuclear problems I think, so maybe they have a reason to worry but for us the situation is different so we’re going to go.<\/p>\n
What do you think of DRS, is it good for the show?<\/b><\/p>\n
Generally speaking, yes, apparently it’s a good thing.<\/p>\n
As a driver, doesn’t that frustrate you a little? Hasn’t it become too easy to overtake?<\/b><\/p>\n
Yes, but you can’t have everything in life. We wanted more overtakes and today we have easy overtakes. I think with the tires and DRS we have found a good solution for interesting races.<\/p>\n
