\u00ab I have always enjoyed city circuits and today’s sessions went well for me. It always takes a little time to get into the rhythm, especially on a long circuit like Singapore, but I found the speed quite quickly. The overall balance of the car was good all day with just a little understeer in the high and medium-speed corners. When I was on the super-softs, it was better. We worked well on both tyre compounds with long runs in the second session. The super-softs provide more grip, but the drop-off in performance after a few laps is really significant. \u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab It was not the best day because I really needed track time to learn the circuit. The first session was cut short and I had brake issues in the second, which took the majority of the session to resolve. This means I will start tomorrow with limited running on the softs and just one lap on the super-softs. It’s not ideal because you need to build confidence on street circuits and find the limits since there’s little room for error.
