The team led by Ross Brawn wants to reasonably aim for victories and as quickly as possible. To prepare the best possible car for 2012, the team has decided to recruit renowned engineers.<\/p>\n<p>Aldo Costa, former technical director of Scuderia Ferrari and former colleague of Brawn when the latter was at Ferrari, and Geoffrey Willis, who has just left HRT, will join the Mercedes GP team. Willis will take on the role of Technology Director starting October 17, and Aldo Costa will become Director of Engineering starting December 1.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abI am delighted to announce that Aldo Costa and Geoff Willis will be joining the Mercedes GP Petronas team. Geoff is a highly respected engineer with 20 years of Formula 1 experience, and we look forward to him joining us next month. Having worked with Aldo for years, I know he will bring his determination and world-champion expertise to the team when he joins us in December,\u00bb Ross Brawn stated in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>(D)Building a team capable of winning is an exciting challenge for all of us as we work for the competitiveness and standards to which we aspire as members of Mercedes-Benz.
