\u00ab It’s not too bad. Both sessions went well and we made steady progress. The single-seater seems good with both types of tires – the track has a very good level of grip here and the degradation of the softs is quite low, manageable in any case, so it looks good for Sunday. The most important thing is that now we have very good Fridays which gives us the chance to properly set up our cars and we can therefore focus on the work ahead of Saturday and Sunday, and you can clearly see that with the performances in our recent races. \u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab It was a good Friday for us. The car was well balanced throughout the day, and we consistently improved with each run, so I think we are on the right track for the rest of the weekend. Both types of tires are performing well here – the softs don’t degrade too quickly, so I think we’ll have a card to play in the race, and there’s a bit of a performance difference between the softs and the mediums, so we should be able to do something in qualifying – we’ll see. \u00bb<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Jarno Trulli and Heikki Kovalainen are delighted with the test day that just ended in Abu Dhabi. The two Team Lotus drivers were able to work without encountering any issues with their car. They were able to test both types of tires in different situations and found that the degradation was less significant than usual.
