After starting in F1 with Jaguar in 2004, Christian Klien raced for Red Bull for two seasons in 2005 and 2006. Since then, his F1 career has been more about being a test driver, despite competing in three Grand Prix for HRT in 2010.<\/p>\n

Even though he has other occupations as a driver, such as racing in Endurance for Peugeot and Aston Martin, his priority remains Formula 1 because he is convinced that he has proven his competitiveness during the 51 Grand Prix he participated in.<\/p>\n

\u00abEvery driver aspires to Formula 1. And one can believe it even more if, like me, they have achieved good results in the past, \u00bb explains Klien, as quoted by espnf1<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Klein is only 28 years old, and examples of older drivers who have successfully made a comeback\u2014Narain Karthikeyan with HRT this season at 34 years old or Pedro de la Rosa who will drive for HRT in 2012 at 41 years old\u2014give the Austrian driver hope.<\/p>\n

\u00ab For now, unfortunately, I don’t really see how I could come back. But look at Pedro de la Rosa. He’s 42 years old (actually 41) and he’s coming back to F1 (in 2012). I’m only 28, so for me, it’s not too late yet, \u00bb added the Austrian driver.<\/p>\n

In 2010, during his return to competition in Singapore, he made a strong impression by outperforming Bruno Senna, who had been the main driver since the beginning of the season.
