Initially scheduled to make its debut during the second free practice sessions in 2012, the new HRT single-seater, the F112, will likely not appear before the final session organized at the Barcelona circuit in early March.<\/p>\n
The F112 reportedly failed three of the seventeen tests required by the FIA for its chassis homologation. A particular feature of this new season is that the car cannot hit the track until it has passed the crash tests imposed by the Federation.<\/p>\n
It seems that one of the weaknesses of the new Spanish single-seater might be at the front, at the nose of the car. In light of the radical choices of its main competitors, this part of the chassis appears to be of major importance in design this year.<\/p>\n
