I’m really happy, the team has done a great job. For a while now, we’ve been saying that we needed to improve our performance in qualifying, and I think this was a significant improvement today. Apparently, I’ll be starting 3rd tomorrow because Lewis Hamilton had to change his gearbox.<\/p>\n
This starting position allows me to have high hopes. But I’m not someone who dreams; the goal remains the same: to score as many points as possible. We have a good car that doesn’t wear the tires too much, so I’m approaching the race very confidently.<\/p>\n
Sergio P\u00e9rez – 7th and 8th<\/b><\/p>\n
This was a good result for the team in qualifying. Personally, I have to admit that I hoped to do better than 8th. After the previous stints that had been very promising, in my last lap in Q3, I was on new soft tires, and I suddenly had understeer. I don’t know where that came from.
