\u00ab It was a very difficult race today. I had no balance, no speed, and no chance to attack after the second or third lap. The rear tires were wearing out massively, and every time I tried to attack, they locked up in braking, and I had no stability under braking. Unfortunately, it’s a weekend to learn from and put behind us quite quickly. We’ve had complex days from Friday to Sunday, and we need to retrace our steps to see the technical choices we’ve made to understand how we can improve and apply the planned improvements for Spain. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Naturally, I am disappointed because the race was difficult, but I was quite happy with the car and was managing the tires quite well. Despite the tough conditions, I was still able to push, and I think we were quite close to the pace of the Caterhams. Unfortunately, on the 24th lap, I had a problem with the valves and had no choice but to retire, which is frustrating for me and the team because they worked very hard to keep us moving forward this weekend.
