Today was a strange day, but I’m glad I was able to run this morning with the Medium tires and a final stint with the Intermediate tires. This way, if it doesn’t rain during the race, we have a small idea of what we might encounter, and if it rains tomorrow, as it seems likely, at least we know what to expect. The mechanics did a good job allowing us to get out today, and now we need to work on the settings for tomorrow.<\/p>\n

\u00ab It was an interesting session where I was able to ride a large part of the time on dry ground, although the track was changing. There were a few showers that, at times, made things a bit more complicated. But I am happy with how it went. We did a good job and the car responded well, which is the goal. \u00bb<\/p>\n

It wasn’t very productive and if tomorrow, the track is dry, I will face completely new conditions. But it seems it should rain tomorrow, so today’s data will be useful.
