I had a very good car today, but I couldn’t do any better, I couldn’t overtake on the straight. It was disappointing, but that’s how it is. We put ourselves in this situation yesterday with our setup choices for qualifying and we paid for it today. I was fast, but not in the right place, and when you find yourself behind someone, there’s not much to do. I hope that in the next race we will be smarter and that we can use our speed to take more points in the championship.<\/p>\n

Qualified in 7th position, Kimi R\u00e4ikk\u00f6nen finished the race in 7th after spending most of his time in Felipe Massa’s exhaust. The Finn, however, had to settle for seeing the diffuser of the F2012, due to insufficient top speed to overtake.
