We did our best, but it’s disappointing not to be on the front row. I thought the lap would be good enough, but we were a tenth off; it’s always tight here in qualifying. For the last race of the season, it would have been nice to take pole, but well done to McLaren. We don’t know what the weather will be like tomorrow, and if the whole race will be on Intermediates or Rain tires \u2013 we also have to be ready for part of it with slicks. You never know what will happen here with the weather.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Q2 was good for us, but I made a mistake in the first lap of Q3 at turn 4. I was happier with my second lap in Q3, but it wasn’t fast enough. I could have done a bit more, so I’ll look at the data when I get back and see where I could have improved.
