The Red Bull driver finishes far ahead of his rivals; indeed, behind Vettel, we find Jenson Button, Nico Rosberg, and Kimi R\u00e4ikk\u00f6nen, all three credited with two fastest laps in races during the 2012 season. They are followed by eight drivers who recorded a fastest lap in 2012: Kobayashi, Grosjean, P\u00e9rez, Schumacher, Senna, H\u00fclkenberg, Webber, and Hamilton.<\/p>\n
This is the second time, after 2009, that Sebastian Vettel has won this trophy. He follows his teammate Mark Webber, winner in 2011, and joins Kimi R\u00e4ikk\u00f6nen, who won this prize twice in 2007 and 2008.<\/p>\n
With his 7 fastest laps set in 2012, Sebastian Vettel has now recorded a total of 15, placing him in 4th position in the ranking of drivers with the most fastest laps.
