The 2013 Formula 1 season comes to life today with the start of private testing in Jerez, Spain. All eleven teams are present for this first private testing session, out of the three sessions scheduled before the Australian Grand Prix, the first race of the year. However, in Jerez, only Williams will not be running with their 2013 car, as the FW35 will only be presented in Barcelona.<\/p>\n

Motors Inside is present in Jerez and we offer to let you experience this first day of testing, as well as the following ones, live through the live text below. Feel free to participate in this live text by asking us questions throughout the day.<\/p>\n

After the presentations this morning of the Marussia MR02, with Max Chilton in attendance, and the Caterham CT03, with Charles Pic, Giedo Van der Garde, and Cyril Abiteboul among others present, the first drivers took to the track at 9:00 a.m. for the start of this session, which will conclude tonight at 5:00 p.m., with a break around noon. Nico H\u00fclkenberg, at the wheel of the Sauber C32, was the first to set off for an installation lap. Weather-wise, it’s sunny in Jerez, with a clear blue sky but rather cool temperatures this early morning, 8\u00b0C in the air and 9\u00b0C on the track.<\/p>\n
