\u00ab As with any trial of new developments, there are positives and negatives to take away from this day. We now have a better understanding of the correlation between the track and the wind tunnel. It’s positive for the future, but of course, we always want more. I think we’ve taken a step forward, but so have the others. We were limited in terms of track time this morning, so there is a lot of data to sift through and many things to change by tomorrow. We need to look at the elements that work and those that do not improve the car’s balance. We need to focus on a few areas but hope we can improve them for tomorrow. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Today was mainly about the afternoon session and collecting data. It wasn’t the day we hoped for, but we gathered a lot of data for the engineers, which is positive. It was difficult to draw definitive conclusions, but the most positive aspect is that we have a lot of data to input into our simulator to improve our understanding of the correlation with the track. We’ve made progress. Once we have a better idea of the correlation [between the simulator and the track] I think we can make a bigger step forward.
