\u00ab It wasn’t an easy start to the team’s home Grand Prix, but we expected these types of conditions today. Although we no longer expect wet weather for the rest of the weekend, we made the most of things and took this opportunity to work on setups for wet tracks, for future races. I hope to have more running time on the dry so I can really start to attack and know what we can do here. It’s a fantastic track and it will be nice to come back tomorrow. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Despite the tricky conditions, it remains a good day here at Silverstone in front of my crowd. The good news for the team is that the weather seems to remain stable for the rest of the weekend, but I want to thank the fans who came, even in the rain. I hope we can thank their support this weekend. The day started slowly which put us a bit behind on our schedule but we made good progress this afternoon, especially for the long term with the wet track settings. There’s no doubt this will be useful for some of the remaining European rounds. It will be good to tackle the circuit tomorrow in the dry and properly evaluate the car’s performance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
