The two sessions were quite contrasting for us due to the temperature difference between the morning and the afternoon \u2013 but it was a reasonable day in terms of the setup work we accomplished. I think we’ve improved our understanding of how the car operates. We managed to test several things, and our car seems to be in good shape.<\/p>\n
There is really little degradation on the Option tires, it’s more the front that limits performance than the rear, so the tires are working well, which is another positive thing.<\/p>\n
I hope we have taken a step forward, but there is always room for improvement.<\/p>\n
Sergio Perez \u2013 9th and 12th:<\/p>\n
The car seemed really good this morning, and our times were competitive, but the track temperature changed in the afternoon, so I wasn’t entirely happy with the car’s balance in the end.<\/p>\n
Now, we have the time to leave and analyze why the balance was so different between the two sessions. We have a lot of information to analyze, and I think we have the potential to do better tomorrow.<\/p>\n
