\u00ab It’s a great feeling to finish 6th and make the one-stop strategy work. I said yesterday that we opted for race-oriented settings and it really paid off today. There were times when we had to be fast and others when we had to manage our pace and take care of the tires. Towards the end of the race, I was battling with Fernando and Lewis, but it was impossible to hold off Fernando because he had fresh softs. Lewis was on mediums so I focused on my exit out of the hairpin and the chicane leading onto the straights, and I was able to stay ahead. The eight points are what we needed, and everyone in the team deserves this reward for all the efforts put in this week. It’s been two good consecutive weekends and we’re heading to Austin determined to continue on this path. \u00bb<\/p>\n
