\u00ab I am reasonably happy with the result today because it’s a track that doesn’t particularly suit my driving style. The wind picked up a bit before qualifying, which made the conditions tricky, and I think we did our best. We did better than a few fast cars, and in the end, I was just a tenth away from Q3. I had planned to do a final fast lap in Q2, but I came across Lewis on my out lap, who was cooling his tires. My out lap was compromised, so we canceled the run. We can choose the tires for tomorrow and we have recently shown that our race day performance is our strength. If we get a good start and optimize the strategy, points will be within our reach. \u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab It’s a disappointing result today. The car was fast throughout all sessions, but things didn’t go as planned today. I had to deal with a lot of traffic during my quick lap in Q1, including a Marussia in the final corner, and it cost me the chance to go into Q2. I then started another lap and suffered a front-right brake disc failure, which ended my session. So, I’m starting 17th [16th after Gutierrez’s penalty, editor’s note] and I’m just hoping we can do something with the strategy to try and get into the points tomorrow.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
