The announcement was made on social media and notably on Facebook where the team published the following information: &#8220;We have successfully passed the two crash tests for the homologation of our 2014 chassis.&#8221; They also published a video of these crash tests, which you can find below.<\/p>\n<p>If Caterham has a single-seater ready for 2014, for the moment, it has not revealed the names of its two official drivers. The team was hoping to announce its drivers quickly to prepare for 2014 as soon as possible, but according to Charles Pic&#8217;s recent statements, this could still take a few days as the Frenchman was hoping for an answer before Christmas. Besides the Frenchman, Caterham is also considering Giedo van der Garde &#8211; Pic&#8217;s teammate, Heikki Kovalainen, or Marcus Ericsson.
