The Russian team had indeed announced that it would be <a href=\"\/f1\/actualite\/16851-officiel-marussia-sera-a-jerez.html\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Official: Marussia will be in Jerez\">present from the first day of testing in Jerez<\/a>, this Tuesday, January 28, but a problem that arose during the finalization of the single-seater is delaying its first laps.<\/p>\n<p>Marussia, through the voice of John Booth, its team manager, preferred to address this technical problem at its facilities in Banbury, Great Britain, rather than risk taking a &#8220;sick&#8221; car to Jerez: \u00ab While the construction of our car was going very well according to plan, we encountered a small frustrating problem, which we are working hard to resolve at the Banbury technical center. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>When asked by <i>Autosport<\/i>, the team principal added: \u00ab It makes sense to tackle [this issue] while we still have the entire team and technical staff on site.
