After securing the hat trick with pole position, fastest lap in the race, and victory, the winner of the day is obviously overjoyed: \u00ab I am incredibly happy today. This is my first victory in Malaysia after eight attempts. \u00bb<\/p>\n
Lewis Hamilton proved to be fast but, more importantly, something we knew less about, a good manager. He states: \u00ab I managed to take good care of the car, the tires, and the fuel while maintaining a fairly high pace, which somewhat made the task easier for me. \u00bb<\/p>\n
He emphasizes the importance of this result in terms of the constructors’ championship: \u00ab It’s great to see Mercedes leading the championship, but we know we need to make the early races count. Anything can happen, as was seen in Australia, so it’s an important result for us. Double podiums are not so common, and it’s a real achievement for the team. \u00bb<\/p>\n
