After a good first stint, Kvyat hoped to fight for some points. However, that was not counting on the race’s challenges, particularly tire wear. To be honest, it was a very difficult race today. First of all, we lacked pace, and on top of that came tire wear, which was quite significant. On the 7th lap, Kvyat overtook Gutierrez and secured 11th place. Engaged in multiple battles throughout the Grand Prix, the Russian driver then caught up with the Force India cars. At the end of my first stint and after some overtakes on the outside line, I managed to get closer to the two Force India cars, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough. Even with new tires for the last stint and overtaking a few cars towards the end of the race, it wasn’t possible to get into the points today.<\/p>\n
