Despite a significant financial contribution, estimated at a little over 10 million euros offered to the Sauber F1 team in particular, the Swiss driver did not find his place in the 2014 Formula 1 World Championship.<\/p>\n<p>The 25-year-old driver thus turned to the World Endurance Championship alongside the Swiss team Rebellion Racing, but according to Roger Benoit, the correspondent for the Swiss newspaper <i>Blick<\/i> on Formula One Grand Prix, the Rothrist native could be doing a double program with F1.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, thanks to his long-time supporter Rainer Gantenbein, Leimer could benefit from track time on Friday during free practice 1 with the Marussia F1 team &#8211; whose regular drivers are Max Chilton and Jules Bianchi.
