The English driver from Mercedes has just secured a new victory in Spain, which allows him to take the lead in the world drivers’ championship. The two drivers of the Silver Arrows have known each other since their karting days, yet the current leader sees similarities with his 2007 season. The former McLaren driver thus compares his duel with the current Scuderia Ferrari driver, Fernando Alonso.<\/p>\n
When asked if his experience in the title fight could be useful, the Briton replies in the affirmative, as cited by ESPN: \u00ab Yes, I think so, my toughest confrontation with a teammate was with Fernando in 2007, the battle with Nico in Bahrain was also tough.
