During the two Friday sessions, the Mercedes drivers dominated the top positions. This morning, it was the Red Bulls that stood out, with Sebastian Vettel ahead of Daniel Ricciardo in a session heavily disrupted by rain, which didn’t provide a true picture of the hierarchy as Hamilton, Rosberg, and Alonso, among others, didn’t take risks by not recording any timed laps.<\/p>\n
As is often the case on the British circuit, rain could be the surprise guest of the qualifying session and potentially shuffle the deck slightly at all levels of the hierarchy.<\/p>\n
