Transitioning from a relatively fast circuit to a slow circuit, Fernando Alonso believes he experienced a more studious Friday than what usually occurs when two Grand Prix races follow each other in a week. He is satisfied with the results obtained from this work even though there is still more work to be done.<\/p>\n
He states: \u00ab Of course, we still have a lot to do to be as competitive as we would like, but I think we are on the right track. There is less grip here compared to previous years, but it’s the same for everyone and now we have to try to prepare the car as well as possible for qualifying and the race. Throughout this Friday, Iceman<\/i> tested both Pirelli compounds but felt much more comfortable with the handling of his car on soft tires. Indeed, when he switched to medium tires, the behavior of his car noticeably deteriorated.<\/p>\n
