The French driver’s race was compromised by the collision with Maldonado: \u00ab Difficult race for me because I had to drive for 50 laps with a damaged car having significant balance issues. Maldonado came out of nowhere and hit me on the side. I was really scared he would take me out of the race and I knew this race would be full of opportunities, for me and also for our competitors. \u00bb<\/p>\n
He was worried about Marussia’s 9th place in the standings: \u00ab Even though the Caterhams didn’t run for very long, balance issues prevented me from fighting with the cars ahead, particularly the Saubers, which were in a position to threaten our position in the championship. \u00bb<\/p>\n

On the British side, the race was rather good: \u00ab I got a good start and was happy with the way the car performed and that we managed to avoid all the difficulties faced by the drivers who retired.
