The Mexican is not satisfied with his result in qualifying even though he doesn’t think he could have done better than ninth. He specifies: \u00ab If we look at our performance yesterday, our race pace should be good, but there aren’t many options to choose from with this strategy. Due to traffic reasons during his setup lap, the German wasn’t able to complete a lap as fast as he would have liked. He explains: \u00ab Everyone was slowing down. So I had to slow down and lost tire temperature and pressure, and therefore couldn’t improve my time. Additionally, my first stint in Q2 wasn’t good enough. So we missed Q3. It was a battle today, and the car felt a bit unstable. \u00bb<\/p>\n

The qualification was difficult for Sahara Force India. Nico H\u00fclkenberg didn’t manage to get through Q1.
