Esteban Ocon, member of the Lotus young driver program, will take part in the Race of Champions, which will be held on December 13 and 14 at the Bushy Park circuit in Barbados, in the Caribbean.<\/p>\n

The young Frenchman will team up with Romain Grosjean, Lotus F1 driver, for Team France. Ocon is delighted to have been chosen for this competition after winning his F3 title this year: “It was my goal to win the European F3 championship in my first year and achieving it is just fantastic. Now going to the Race of Champions is a dream come true. When I was a child, I came to see it at the Stade de France in Paris.”<\/p>\n

Even though it will be his first participation in the Race of Champions, Ocon has ambition for his debut: \u00ab I have known Romain for three years, since I started coming to the Lotus F1 factory. I really look forward to teaming up with him and hopefully we can achieve a good result for Team France on Saturday. Then it will be even better to try to beat him in the individual Race of Champions on Sunday. \u00bb<\/p>\n
