The Caterham F1 team will be present this weekend in Abu Dhabi for the final round of the 2014 Formula 1 season, and this was made possible thanks to a little help from Bernie Ecclestone, head of FOM.<\/p>\n

While he mentioned in recent days that Caterham and Marussia would not be missed by anyone in the paddock, Bernie Ecclestone ultimately decided to help the Leafield team be present for the final round of 2014: “We have at least helped them to a certain degree, something we didn’t need to do. We even chartered another plane to take them. We went a bit beyond the limit, but it doesn’t matter, we did it.”<\/p>\n
