The Swiss team, powered by Ferrari, thus welcomes this driver from the Scuderia&#8217;s academy, who had already tested a Ferrari during the testing days in Abu Dhabi at the end of the season.<\/p>\n<p>The Italian is happy to start a new chapter in his career: \u00ab I am very happy to become a member of the Sauber team in Formula 1, which has a long tradition of supporting young drivers. I think it&#8217;s truly the best choice for my future. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Marciello will also participate in his second season in GP2, alongside his program with Sauber: \u00ab I am also very happy to do another season in GP2, which, with my new role in Formula 1, will keep me very busy in 2015. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Monisha Kaltenborn, the director of Sauber, is happy to welcome a new young talent alongside Marcus Ericsson and Felipe Nasr for the upcoming season: \u00ab He has proven his great talent in feeder series, and his season in the European Formula 3 Championship, with his 13 victories and title, was particularly impressive.
