The Williams F1 team’s technical director, Pat Symonds, has no doubt that Valtteri Bottas will become a Formula 1 world champion in the coming years. During the last season, the Finnish driver stood on the podium six times and thus finished fourth in the World Drivers’ Championship.<\/p>\n
Symonds remains convinced that Bottas’s potential is immense and he tells Autosport<\/i> that he has everything necessary to become world champion: \u00ab I’m really impressed with him. Symonds believes that it’s not just Bottas’ speed that makes him excellent, but his other qualities that give him the stature of a future champion: \u00ab It is certainly not the only thing [his speed].
