Daniel Ricciardo’s race was compromised right from the moment the red lights went out at the start, as his car switched to safety mode, which left the car stuck on the grid. The Australian tried to make up for this missed start, but traffic prevented him from climbing higher in the standings: \u00ab We went into anti-stall at the start, which had never happened before. We need to analyze what happened. It’s frustrating because it dictated the race, and in traffic, we struggled to get through. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Indeed, the lack of top speed of his car was glaring compared to Marcus Ericsson’s, who always soared on the straight.
