At one point rumored to be moving to Lotus to replace Romain Grosjean, who is heading to Haas, the 25-year-old driver ultimately chose continuity and security.<\/p>\n
Sergio Perez is therefore preparing to enter his third season with Force India and is already looking forward to it: “I am very happy to confirm that I will be staying with Force India. This means I can simply focus on the essentials now \u2013 driving the car and scoring points for the team. Since arriving here, I have really matured as a driver and I feel that I am at my best.”<\/p>\n
The Mexican has indeed delivered solid performances recently in the championship, even having the luxury of currently leading his teammate Nico H\u00fclkenberg in the world championship.
