Mandatory since 1985, crash tests are an essential step for any team wishing to compete in F1. To further increase its quality standards, the FIA has even made these tests mandatory before the first winter testing session and not just before the first race of the season.<\/p>\n

Haas has thus announced that the test conducted at the CSI facility in the suburbs of Milan went well and that its car therefore meets the Federation’s requirements. The choice of this test center is linked to the fact that Haas entrusted the design of its chassis to the Italian company Dallara, not to mention its in-depth partnership with Ferrari.<\/p>\n

G\u00fcnther Steiner’s men will therefore benefit from an additional month and a half before running their car for the first time, since the first tests are scheduled in Barcelona for February 22nd.
