For the first day of winter testing in Spain at the Barcelona circuit, many teams plan to present their 2016 model cars.<\/p>\n

This morning, Force India unveiled its VJM09 which will hit the track starting today. The Indian team approaches this new season with high ambitions, aiming to continue the momentum from the end of last year, where Nico H\u00fclkenberg and especially Sergio P\u00e9rez delivered strong races, notably crowned with a podium at the last Russian Grand Prix.<\/p>\n

But it will not be either of the two main drivers who will take to the track first this morning, as it will be the new reserve driver, the Mexican Alfonso Celis, who will be honored.<\/p>\n

Force India thus presents its 9th single-seater after having achieved the best season in its history in 2015 by securing 5th place in the Constructors’ World Championship.<\/p>\n
