This is not the first time an F1 team has partnered with a manufacturer to create a supercar. In the past, Williams significantly contributed to the development of Jaguar’s C-X75, before the project was abandoned. In order to further increase the visibility of such an agreement, it was also decided to extend it to Formula 1.
