But when a city like Monaco decides to set up a circuit in its narrow streets, the dilemma becomes dizzying. It takes no less than 1,872<\/b> tires, 21<\/b> kilometers of safety barriers, 750<\/b> meters of Tecpro protection, and 20,000<\/b> m\u00b2 of fencing to secure the entire track.<\/p>\n
Around it, 9<\/b> cranes are set up to swiftly remove crashed single-seaters. To ensure the Monaco Grand Prix’s reputation for on-track responsiveness remains intact, the organization can rely on 646<\/b> track marshals and no fewer than 120<\/b> professional firefighters.<\/p>\n
These men have at their disposal 799<\/b> fire extinguishers, which is equivalent to placing one every 15<\/b> meters all around the circuit. The men are equipped with 248<\/b> walkie-talkies to communicate with each other, and a helicopter is also ready to take off if needed.<\/p>\n
From a more sporting perspective, this legendary track includes 19<\/b> turns, 8<\/b> to the left and 11<\/b> to the right, spanning 3.337<\/b> kilometers.
