Indeed, the French Grand Prix is expected to make its return at the Paul Ricard circuit, in Le Castellet, as a world championship event in the F1 World Championship.<\/p>\n<p>A press conference is scheduled to be held Monday afternoon at the Automobile Club de France premises with the theme: <i>&#8220;The Future of Formula 1 in France&#8221;<\/i>. Christian Estrosi, the President of the PACA region, as well as Hubert Falco, the mayor of Toulon, and Nicolas Deschaux, the President of the FFSA, are expected to attend.<\/p>\n<p>Several French media outlets, such as Europe 1 and RMC, have already announced a return to the calendar of the French Grand Prix in August or September 2018, replacing the German Grand Prix. A 5-year contract is said to have been signed for this race to take place on the Paul Ricard circuit, which is often used by Formula 1 teams for private testing.
